These Nikon DSLRs will be rarer than Bugatti Veyrons
but not nearly as expensive
Last week at the CP+ show, Nikon revealed their limited edition 100th Anniversary DSLR kit, that left hard core "Nikonians" like myself drooling for a bit (you can't drool too long, it's embarrassing).
Personally, I think these are the exact DSLRs and Lenses that will be awarded to the Nikon Contest winners in July.
The kits include two DSLRs and three Lenses, sporting 100th anniversary markings and done in gunmetal gray, the kind of colour Apple brags about on their devices (it's just a colour, geez).
The DSLRs in the kit include the insanely awesome, top of the line 35mm format, Nikon D5 and it's equally awesome APS-C format junior brother, Nikon D500; bundled with the Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8G ED, Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR, and Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR lenses (The longer the focal length range, the more Acronyms). The photos included were taken by photographer Richard Haw, all copyrights belong to him.
Feast your eyes.

The 100th anniversary Edition D5, D500 and Lens Kits will be made available for purchase, at a limited 100 copies, Bugatti Veyron sold 400 copies. No pricing has been revealed yet, but they should cost probably a little more than their non Limited Edition counterparts... or a lot more... or a hell of a lot more, depends on how Nikon executives feel at the time, they just made a declaration of extraordinary loss afterall.
